Hey there! I hope you had an amazing week.

Last week on ANCHORED, we talked about dealing with temptation, why it can feel so difficult at times, and how God’s Word guides us to handle it with wisdom.

If you missed last week’s message, you can check your email or click here to read it.

There are moments when your faith does not feel as strong as it used to.

You still believe in God.
You still pray.
But something feels different.

Your prayers feel quieter.
Your confidence feels lower.
And the certainty you once had stops feeling the same.

And you start to wonder what changed.

When your faith does not feel the same

A lot of people think strong faith means always being certain.

But that is not how it works.

There will be times when you are sure.
And times when you are not.

That does not mean something is wrong with you.

It means you are human.

Even strong believers had these moments

In Mark 9:24, a man said to Jesus:

“I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief.”

That is an honest prayer.

He believed, but he also struggled.

And Jesus did not turn him away.

That shows us something important.

Faith and doubt can exist at the same time.

Why faith can feel weaker sometimes

Faith often feels weaker when life gets difficult.

When prayers seem unanswered.
When things do not go the way you hoped.
When you feel tired or discouraged.
When you have been waiting longer than expected on God for something.

In those moments, it becomes harder to hold on to what you cannot see.

Your feelings do not always reflect reality

Faith is not built on how you feel in a moment.

It is built on your understanding of who God is.

There will be days when you feel close to God.
And days when you do not.

But God never forsakes us at any moment.

Hebrews 13:5 says:

“Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

God’s word remains true, even when your feelings change.

What helps when you are running low on faith

Sometimes when you are running low on faith, it is not about doing more.

It is choosing not to give up.

Keep praying, even if you do not know what to say.
Keep reading God’s word, even if nothing stands out.
Keep showing up in His presence, even when you do not feel much.

Because over time, those small moments matter more than you realise.

You are not as far as you think

When your faith feels weak, it is easy to assume you have drifted too far away.

But that is not always true.

The fact that you still care.
The fact that you still want to turn to God.
The fact that you are still reading this.

That matters.

Hear this

Some of the strongest faith is built in seasons where you keep trusting God even when you are not feeling anything or when you are not seeing any changes yet.

One last thing

You do not need to always feel perfect to stay connected to God.

You just need a willing heart.

Even if your faith feels weak right now, keep showing up before God.

He will strengthen your faith.
